Dallas is 339 square miles and we are thirty miles south of downtown on I-35E. That is the honest starting point. Job site and event restrooms, weekly or twice-weekly service, and a mileage number quoted before you book instead of discovered on the invoice.
Dallas covers 339.58 square miles. Our yard is thirty miles south of downtown on I-35E. Pretending Oak Cliff and Far North Dallas are the same delivery is how vendors end up missing windows, so here is how we actually price and route it.
Our base service zone is a 20-mile radius from the Waxahachie yard, and Dallas sits past it. Beyond that radius we add $1.25 per mile on top of the published $55 delivery. That is not a surprise line item — you get the mileage figure with the quote, before you book, and it does not move afterward.
I-35E from Waxahachie into Oak Cliff and downtown was rebuilt under TxDOT’s $666 million Southern Gateway program, an eleven-mile job through southern Dallas County carrying roughly 192,000 vehicles a day. It finished in 2022. That is the pavement we run, and it is why the south and southwest sides of Dallas are the parts of the city we are genuinely fast to.
Far North Dallas, Preston Hollow and the Valley View area at Preston and LBJ are the far end of a Waxahachie route, and LBJ East has been a construction zone for years. We will still quote it and we will still run it — but we will tell you the realistic window instead of promising a morning we cannot hit.
This matters more on an out-of-zone job than an in-zone one. If we are already bringing a roll-off to your Dallas site, the porta potty rides out on the same truck and we waive the $55 delivery fee. Same trip, same crew, one mobilization instead of two.
Three of the largest job sites in Texas are inside this city at the same time, and two of them are rearranging downtown traffic while they do it. Every one of these is a headcount problem before it is a restroom problem.
Halls D, E and F at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center are coming down now, with major demolition expected to be substantially complete by the end of 2026 and a multi-billion-dollar replacement running through the end of the decade. The new facility is programmed at 2.1 million square feet. This is the single biggest hole in the ground in Dallas.
Cesar Chavez Boulevard is closed and detoured at I-30 through late 2028. Akard Street is closed at I-30 through summer 2028. Cadiz Street is closed and being rebuilt on a new alignment, and Good Latimer is down to one lane each direction through early 2028. If your site is in that box, the delivery route matters as much as the delivery date.
A $5 billion pediatric campus on 33.7 acres in the Southwestern Medical District, with roughly 4.9 million square feet of construction and an opening targeted for 2031. A build that long with that much trade headcount is a twice-weekly service account from day one, not a weekly one.
TxDOT broke ground in March 2026 on the $888 million rebuild of I-30 between I-35E and I-45, taking it from six main lanes to twelve and running to 2031. Highway jobs move down the alignment as they go, which is the whole reason we own site mover trailers instead of making a special trip every time the work shifts.
University Hills is a $1 billion, 270-acre development near UNT Dallas with 580 residences in its first phase, and it broke ground in May 2025. Builders on ground like that need a unit per phase, moved as the phase moves, not a fleet sitting where the first delivery truck left it.
Voters approved a $6.2 billion bond in May 2026 — the largest school bond package in Texas history — funding 26 replacement schools and touching every campus in the district. It is also written to eliminate all 700 portable buildings currently in use. Multiple campuses under construction at once, every one of them on a hard school-calendar deadline.

Sec. 42A-19 says it plainly: at least five percent of the portable restrooms required for a permitted Dallas special event must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. That is a hard floor written into the code, not a nice-to-have, and it is the first thing to get wrong on a bid built off a generic attendance calculator.
The same section lets the director reduce the required number of restrooms with written confirmation from the vendor that the units will be serviced during the permitted event. We will put that confirmation in writing. On a long single-day event that clause is worth real money, and it is the difference between a vendor who has read the ordinance and one who has not.
A Dallas special event permit is required for outdoor gatherings expecting 100 or more people, and installing portable toilets for public use is itself one of the listed triggers. Any street closure needs a permit regardless of size, and applications involving street closures are due 60 calendar days before setup. Start early; we will place units wherever the City approves.
The State Fair of Texas runs September 25 through October 18, 2026 across 277-acre Fair Park — it drew 2,020,064 people over 24 days in 2025, with a single Saturday at 193,960. The Red River Rivalry drops another 91,000-plus onto the same grounds on October 10. The St. Patrick’s Parade puts 120,000 people on two miles of Greenville Avenue every March. The Dallas Marathon finishes at City Hall Plaza in December, the Turkey Trot runs Thanksgiving morning, Dallas Pride took over four downtown parks in June, and the Deep Ellum Arts Fair covers eight blocks in April.

Dallas City Code Sec. 42A-19 sets it off a published table keyed to your expected attendance and how many hours the event runs, and at least five percent of the required units have to be ADA compliant. Tell us the headcount and the duration and we will work it against the table with you. The City’s Office of Special Events is the final word on your permit.
Under Sec. 42A-19 the director may reduce the required count with written confirmation from the vendor that the restrooms will be serviced during the event. We provide that confirmation in writing. It does not guarantee a reduction — that is the director’s call — but you cannot ask for one without it.
Texas is stricter than OSHA on this. Under 25 Texas Administrative Code 295.166, chemical toilets at a temporary workplace require one per 20 employees of each sex — but that relaxes to one per 30 if the units are serviced more often than once a week. Section 295.167 also requires one hand-washing facility per two toilets. Twice-weekly service can legitimately reduce your unit count, which usually more than pays for the extra visit.
Yes. We own high-rise lift kits that bracket to the base of a unit so a crane or hoist can set it on an upper deck instead of sending crews down every time. On a vertical job downtown, call early so the lift gets scheduled against your crane time rather than after it.
Early-morning delivery is the normal ask on Dallas jobs and we schedule for it. Woodall Rodgers and the I-345/I-45 stack are two of the most congested segments in Texas and they are exactly what a south-side route crosses to reach downtown, on top of the convention center closures at Cesar Chavez, Akard, Cadiz and Good Latimer.
