A typical 2,000 sq ft roof is about 20 squares. With 3-tab shingles, that’s roughly 4,000 lbs of debris. With architectural shingles, you’re closer to 8,000 lbs. Add underlayment, flashing, and nails on top of that.
Why this matters: weight determines which dumpster size keeps you within hauling limits. A 20-yard handles most residential tear-offs. Heavier shingles or multi-layer roofs may need a 30-yard.

Yes. Same-day delivery is available across the DFW area if you book before noon. Next-day is standard for later orders. We know roofing jobs move fast, especially during storm season. We keep containers ready so your crew doesn’t sit idle waiting for a bin.
Standard roofing debris is all fair game: asphalt shingles, tar paper, flashing, drip edge, gutters, nails, ridge caps, vents, and wood decking. The only hard stop is asbestos. If your home was built before 1980, have the shingles tested first. We also can’t take household trash, paint, or chemicals mixed in with roofing materials.
If the dumpster sits on private property like a driveway, you usually don’t need a permit. Street placement may require one depending on the city. Rules differ between Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas. We can help walk you through the requirements for your specific location.
